*After seeking feedback earlier this year, the Data Group have decided not to run the annual 2020 data collection process for the Consultant Contract. We had begun investigating performing a data extract from a consultant contract administration system, this however has been stalled during the COVID-19 outbreak. We are aware that the current exercise is labour intensive and we are keen that the collection of official statistics is efficient and proportionate under the code of practice for official statistics. This has been communicated with all data providers and end users of the data that we are aware of.
