Policies and Strategies

There are a range of policies that govern the work we do and ensure that we are in accordance with the Code of Practice for Official Statistics.

• NES Revisions Policy setting out our policy on revising statistics e.g. changes in methodology, errors etc.
• statistical disclosure control protocol and assessment procedure sets out guidance and risk assessment practices that we adhere to when information is being released to any type of customer or stakeholder.

As NHS Education for Scotland and NHS National Services Scotland (NSS) come together to form Public Services Delivery Scotland.

We will seek to align our policies with the team at NSS and publish them jointly as PSD Scotland and consider a timeline. 

To ensure that our statistics meet provide value to our users, it is essential that we engage with our users.

We have developed a user engagement strategy to guide the NHS workforce statistics engagement work over the next 3 years.
