MyCare.scot is a new national service. It launched initially in one area in December 2025 and became available to everyone aged 18 and over with a Scottish health record in April 2026. In June 2026 it became available through a downloadable mobile app. MyCare.scot is part of the Digital Front Door programme, which aims to improve how people access health and social care information, services and support across Scotland.

MyCare.scot will continue to develop over time. The service is being rolled out in phases, with public awareness activity aligned to the features currently available. As new functionality is introduced and awareness grows, patterns of registration and use are expected to change.
