Data quality background

The Digital Front Door programme is helping transform how people access health and social care information. Through MyCare.scot and related digital services, the programme aims to create easier and more joined up ways for people to access the information and support they need. Understanding how many people register for and use MyCare.scot helps us understand demand for the service, monitor its growth over time, and inform future service development.

The UK Statistics Authority defines management information as aggregate information that organisations collate and use in the normal course of business to inform operational delivery, policy development and the management of organisational performance.

The Digital Front Door programme is developing additional management information to help track how use of MyCare.scot changes over time and how people use it to access their health and social care information.
